CURRENCY, TAXES AND DUTY

Prices in the web store are stated in euro (€). When ordering from within Finland final prices will include 25,5% Finnish VAT and from EU, local VAT%. If you are based outside EU and shipping will be made outside EU, Finnish VAT does not apply. However, there may be local taxes and/or duties on import of products from Finland, depending on the value of your order. Please check with you local customs authorities before ordering or contact us for more information.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Gemmi web store accepts payments with major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Maestro, American Express). All credit card transactions are secure, data related to the payment is protected via the SSL standard.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once we have received your order, you will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address that you provided when submitting your order. Some items in the web store are made to order and will be delivered within 2-3 weeks from the confirmation date.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Gemmi web store ships internationally. Customers from non-EU countries are responsible for any customs duty and taxes on import, which usually have to be paid to the courier before delivery.  We ship internationally by DHL. DHL can take care of customs clearance but will 25 euro for such services.  

We do not use any fur material from endangered species. We provide a CITES statement letter for customs clearance, however, import restrictions for specific fur products may apply, depending on your country of residence. Please check with customs in your country if you are unsure about any restrictions. 

Deliveries within Finland are made via the Finnish Post Office or PostNord, depending on the size of package. Delivery may be to a post office/parcel locker close by your given address. All deliveries outside Finland will be directly to your home address. Please note that a street address is required for delivery by courier. Delivery will be made by DHL, which usually takes 2-8 days. If the package is held up by customs for inspection there can be a delay of up to two weeks.

The delivery charges to Finland are:

   < 150€ (VAT 0%) by Posti 6,90 € (5,50 € + VAT)

   >150€ (VAT0%) by PostNord 10,79€ (8,60 + VAT)

Delivery charges to EU countries are: 

   < 1000€ (VAT 0%)  by DHL economy 20€+ local VAT 

   >1000€ (VAT0%)  by DHL economy 55€ + local VAT 

Deliver charges to Norway, Switzerland and the UK 

   <1000€ (VAT0%) by DHL  30€     plus customs clearance 25€

   >1000€(VAT%) by DHL  65€         plus customs clearance 25€

Delivery charges, rest of the World 

   <1000€ (VAT0%)  by DHL 35€   plus customs clearance 25€

   >1000€ (VAT0%) by DHL 75€   plus customs clearance 25€

 

PRICES AND VALUE ADDED TAX

Customers based in Finland and EU countries will be charged Finnish or local VAT on any purchases. Customers outside EU will pay the price net of VAT. Please note that you may need to pay local tax or duty on products purchased in foreign online shops. Any such tax and duty will have to be paid before the package is delivered to the address provided. 

In the online shop, the prices are shown as follows.

On the product and collection pages:

• The price is shown both including VAT (for EU customers) and excluding VAT (for non-EU customers).

In the shopping cart:

• Individual items are listed with a price including VAT.
• The cart summary shows the total price both including and excluding VAT.

In check out the price is shown as follows based on the delivery address you have provided:

• For orders placed within EU:
• Product price and subtotal – excluding VAT
• Shipping – excluding VAT
• Taxes – shows the VAT calculated on both product price and shipping
• Total – shows the final price for orders within EU, including VAT
• For orders places outside of EU, prices for the product and shipping are shown excluding VAT

 

RETURN POLICY

To ensure your satisfaction with Gemmi products, we offer you a full 14 day money back guarantee on normal priced products from the date you receive your order. You are welcome to either exchange your item or receive a refund. Items must be unused, undamaged and returned in their original packaging and bearing all original product tags.

Please note that the return shipping is paid by the customer. Please ensure that you return orders with sufficient postage. Returns where postage is not paid will not be accepted by us. If you receive a wrong or a faulty item, we will compensate you for the delivery costs.
