SHIPPING AND RETURNS
CURRENCY, TAXES AND DUTY
Prices in the web store are stated in euro (€). When ordering from Finland or EU, final prices will include 24% Finnish VAT. If you are based outside EU and shipping will be made outside EU, Finnish VAT does not apply. However, there may be local taxes and/or duties on import of fur products from Finland, depending on the value of your order. Please check with you local customs authorities before ordering or contact us for more information.
Gemmi web store accepts payments with major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Maestro, American Express) and Pay Pal. All credit card transactions are secure, data related to the payment is protected via the SSL standard.
Once we have received your order, you will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address that you provided when submitting your order. Some items in the web store are made to order and will be delivered to you in accordance with the terms in the order confirmation, normally within 2-3 weeks from the confirmation date.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Gemmi web store ships internationally. Gemmi does not use any fur covered by CITES regulations for endangered species, however, import restrictions for specific fur products may apply, depending on your country of residence. Customers from non-EU countries are responsible for any customs duty and taxes on import, which usually have to be paid to the courier before delivery.
Deliveries are sent via the Finnish Post Office or DHL, depending on the size of package. Delivery in Finland will be made to your home address or a post office close by. All deliveries outside Finland will be directly to your home address. Please note that a street address is required for delivery by courier.
Shipping is free worldwide on orders over 400 € (excluding Finnish VAT where applicable). Delivery will be made by DHL, which usually takes 2-8 days. If the package is held up by customs for inspection there can be a delay of up to two weeks.
Delivery of accessories will be made within Finland by Finnish Post to a post office located near to you, and by DHL for deliveries outside Finland. The delivery charges for orders from 88-400 € (VAT 0%) are:
- Finland 8 € (6,45 € + VAT)
- EU 16 euro (12,90 € + VAT)
- Norway, Switzerland 20 €
- Outside EU 35 €
Small items with a value up to 88 €(VAT 0%) will be delivered in envelopes through the Finnish Post.
Delivery costs for orders with a total value of 31-88 € are:
- Finland 4,50 € (3,63 € + VAT)
- EU 10 € (8,06 € + VAT)
- Norway, Switzerland 10 €
- Outside EU 10 €
Delivery costs for orders with a value up to 31€ are:
- Finland 2,50€ (2,02+ VAT)
- EU 7 € (5,65 + VAT)
- Norway, Switzerland 7 €
- Outside EU 7€
PRICES AND VALUE ADDED TAX
Customers based in Finland and EU countries will be charged Finnish VAT of 24% on any purchases, while customers outside EU will pay the price net of VAT. Please note that you may need to pay local tax or duty on products purchased in foreign online shops. Any such tax and duty will have to be paid before the package is delivered to the address provided.
In the online shop, the prices are shown as follows.
On the product and collection pages:
- The price is shown both including VAT (for EU customers) and excluding VAT (for non-EU customers).
In the shopping cart:
- Individual items are listed with a price including VAT.
- The cart summary shows the total price both including and excluding VAT.
In check out the price is shown as follows based on the delivery address you have provided:
- For orders placed within EU:
- Product price and subtotal – excluding VAT
- Shipping – excluding VAT
- Taxes – shows the VAT calculated on both product price and shipping
- Total – shows the final price for orders within EU, including VAT
- For orders places outside of EU, prices for the product and shipping are shown excluding VAT
To ensure your satisfaction with Gemmi products, we offer you a full 14 day money back guarantee from the date you receive your order. You are welcome to either exchange your item or receive a refund. Items must be unused, undamaged and returned in their original packaging and bearing all original product tags.
Please note that the return shipping is paid by the customer. Please ensure that you return orders with sufficient postage. Returns where postage is not paid will not be accepted by us. If you receive a wrong or a faulty item, we will compensate you for the delivery costs.
